Smart Infocomm stipulates that the warranties contained herein are collateral to the transaction of purchase of Smart Infocomm product either from the company or from any of its authorized distributors/dealers. Smart Infocomm warrants that your Smart Infocomm hardware product shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for the length of time set forth in the warranty periods below, beginning from the date of purchase from the authorized dealer/distributor or from the company directly. Except where prohibited by applicable law, this warranty is nontransferable and is limited to the original purchaser. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary under local laws, Including but not limited to law relating to sale of goods. The warranty contemplated herein does not purport to extend, to any damage caused by unauthorized use of the Smart Infocomm products or use of the product in consistent with the operating instructions furnished by the company to the purchaser or create any legal right to the purchaser of Smart Infocomm Product damaged as a result of such unauthorized use.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover problems or damage resulting from accident, abuse, misapplication, or any unauthorized repair, modification or disassembly
Improper operation or maintenance, usage not in accordance with product instructions or connection to improper voltage supply
Use of consumables, such as replacement batteries, not supplied by Smart Infocomm except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law
Damage in Transit caused due to improper packing.
Repair or attempted repair by any person not authorized by smart Infocomm.
Use of spares not meeting smart Infocomm specification.
Any other causes which does not relate to product defect,
Use the product in an improper or in appropriate operating environment
• The warranty seal of the product being removed or defaced.
• Any defects occurring after the expiration of the warranty period.
• Damage from external caused such as floods, storms, fires, sand dirt, earth quakes, an act of god, exposure to sunlight, weather, moisture, heat or corrosive environments, electrical surges, battery leakage, theft, or damage caused by the connection to other products not recommended for interconnection by smart Infocomm.
